Well, I am wandering my way into my 15th week and my belly just grows and grows. Just read in one of my many books that says I am supposed to be gaining one pound every week now, which shouldn’t be a problem since most food looks very good and I feel hungry all the time. I just want to make sure I am gaining the right amount and not going overboard. The more I put on now, the more I have to take off later (which does not sound fun.)
Haven’t had any crazy cravings, however I have been very nostalgic of late. Everything that I grew up with has been making appearances in my kitchen. Mac and cheese, vanilla ice cream with Quik powder, sloppy joe’s, grilled cheese made with white bread and American cheese, Vernors (with vanilla ice cream) and so forth.
Actually, what I really want is a Slim Jim sandwich from Big Boy Restaurant. And I just found out that there are two Big Boy Restaurants in Florida!!! They just opened. I will have to travel one hour to get to the nearest one, but who cares? It is worth it to get a Slim Jim. MMMMMMMMM, Slim Jim.
Anyway, enough on my pregnancy food preferences. More to come later…
