I know we haven’t posted for a while. Mainly because noth­ing really has hap­pened. Things are going along smoothly in the baby depart­ment, which is a wel­comed bless­ing. Sophie is now one pound and about 10 inches long. She is kick­ing more and more each day and it gets harder and harder. She con­cen­trates her kick­ing fias­cos to early morn­ing, the mid­dle of the night, right before I go to bed and about an hour after I eat. That sounds like it is every moment of the day, but believe it or not I do get some reprieve.

Greg and I are get­ting ready to go to Michigan and spend time with my fam­ily. My mom has planned a shower with friends and fam­ily. It will be nice to see every­one. It will be weird to be look­ing so dif­fer­ent, when every­one hasn’t seen me grow. But it will be fun.

I have my next doctor’s appoint­ment on August 6^th. Nothing earth shat­ter­ing, just the nor­mal stuff. I will write again when some­thing spec­tac­u­lar happens.
