My mom arrives today from Detroit. She will be staying with us until next Tuesday. She isn’t too crazy about coming to Florida in the summer, since Michigan is a tad cooler than us. But it will be nice to have my mom here while I wander through this pregnancy thing.
Don’t have any real big plans, although we will be traveling to Altamonte to get a Slim Jim. That will probably be on Saturday. I keep telling my husband that we are just going to wander around Winter Park cause it is a cute town, but he knows my real reason. He just smiles and says, “Sure honey, Winter Park.…not the Slim Jim at Big Boy down the road.” mmmmmm Slim Jim.
Not much in the baby front. The little one is growing. The ears have developed now and our little one can hear sounds outside of the womb. We better watch what we say! Actually, this is the time to pick a song for them to listen to. They say the baby who hears the same tune inside the womb will recognize it when they are born. Greg and I will have to pick a tune and give it a try.
By the way, July 3rd is when we learn if we are having a boy or a girl. Pretty exciting!
